Gentlemen, In an effort to get to know everyone in the area and have one location to pass upcoming events in the area I have created this thread. There are a few of us in the tampa area that are more than willing to help each other out and have started an effort to increase membership in the local Zclub. If you would like become a part of this group please add your name to this thread. Also if you know of an upcoming event please post it for all to see.


For all I drive a black supercharged Z with aftermarket body kit. I hang my hat in the Fishhawk area and work on the base. :tup:

Looking forward to meeting others from the area.

below is a list of shows that are upcoming along with those who may be attending. This is not an all inclusive list but the ones i feel our car do the best at as far as show. If you want to be added to a certain list as going send me a pm of the shows you will attend and i will add you to this post i will also send out info a couple of days prior of a meeting place and time for those going to that show along with contact info. I will update as much as possible

date and times:
4/28/13 from 11am to 6pm. Car show registration from 10am to 12pm, judging begins at 11, awards ceremony around 5:30. Race registration starts at 9am, heads up qualifying at 11:30 and 12:30. Eliminations at 1:30, 2:30, & 3:30. *tentative
event activities:
Car/truck/bike show, 1/4 mile drag racing, usaci double points stereo crank it up contest, burnout contest (time permitting), vendors, pit midway, and live dj.
Added race class: Hot rod
payouts - $1000 1st, $400 r/u, semi1 $100, semi 2 $100. Must have 8 qualifiers for full payout. Less than 8 qualifiers will receive half the normal payout. 2 or fewer entries is awarded a trophy only. Class summary - heads-up, pro-tree (.400) class for import and sport compact engine and body vehicles only. One-piece front ends and wheelie bars are permitted for fwd cars only. Maximum size slick is 28.0 x 10.5 or any size dot radial tire is permitted. Turbochargers (limit 91.9 single/67.9 twins), superchargers, and nitrous oxide systems permitted in any combination.
Event prices:
All spectator tickets and competitor registration forms can be bought on the day of the show at the front gate. Visit the link below to purchase your tickets in advance. Use promo code "ifo" to receive $2 off spectator admission and $5 off competitor registration (race or show). All who purchase tickets in advance will also receive a free trial subscription to performance auto and sound magazine: import face off tickets, ifo tickets
spectator $17 ($15 with flier at gate) *fliers printed off computer ok to use - right click on flyer image, print (b&w ok). Coupon only good for spectator admission.
Children 10 and under free
car show entry $30 (does not include free passenger pass). *note, ifo only charges $30 per car show entry, not $50 to $60 like other events that claim to give a "free" passenger pass.
Test and tune drag racer $30 (open to any make/model)
competition drag racer $30 (imports and sport compacts only)
burnout contest free

I just got my 09 Magnetic Black in November. I don't have much done to it yet, I just got my Gen 3 CAI yesterday, so at least I'll have that installed before the show. I live near you Kelly, im in Valrico.

I can install that G3 for ya brother. I'll PM you my number, we can do it this weekend or next. :happydance:

Id drive over from Kissimmee if you need extra ppl. I also just got my car and am buying the G3 intakes right away and need em installed:) I tip good if ya like! Tampa takes me about an hour to drive to. Pretty cut and dry drive.

come on over and we will take care of that intake for ya. Also Nut_N_Much does a great job on headlights if you are looking for that mod. :tup:

Will do, im in jax this weekend with family. I feel that car takes off so fast on you and with "cop over here" red, I try to keep it about 77 and set the cruise control. I was getting passed left and right yesterday on 95 but don't have a low profile car lol. I was also thinking the headlights, what does he do, just the paint or are we talking LED's?

Thanks for the invite. Oh btw, my car actually came from Apollo Beach! Some Spanish lady owned it, had full records from Brandon Nissan.

I'll PM you guys on the lights.. Anytime you get stuff for the Z and need help with it (Like Kelly Said) we can install almost anything. No need to pay a bunch of money to get it done. We also have an awesome tuner in Tampa if you ever need Dyno for some reason. He is also the tuner that has a Map for 7AT Transmissions if you go Turbo or SC in the future, help keep you from killing the trany.

Great to see this thread! I'm definitely in....however some very bad news fell upon my car last week :(
I got hit on the front quarter panel by another car...the passenger side door is completely busted, needs to be replaced, my right sided vented fenders are chipped and slightly cracked, and right side skirts are scuffed up pretty bad. I'm taking in to the shop this Tuesday, they'll have it for a couple days, they said they should be able to repair everything, so hopefully I should get my car by the 20th, if so then I'm definitely in.

OMG, not the new fenders:ugh2:. I am so sorry to here that brother:eek:. Where did it happen? That sucks, man you just got it all together not to long ago. I hope the repair goes smooth:tiphat:.

And yes, we had the same problem up in the Panhandle when I would hang out with the guys there. So everyone was named for either their car or their job. ie. Nismo Chad, Air Force Chad, and I was UPS Chad.

Just a little info from talking with All Florida Z today. They will be meeting at Publix (1755 Lakewood Ranch Blvd, Bradenton, FL 34211) @ 8:30 am. This gives us an idea of when to meet up here before heading to Publix. They are also trying to get some peeps from Orlando to also join us! So I think we would have a pretty decent group. I believe about 5-7 are coming up and I know of at least 1 coming from Orlando. (This is as of today as you all know schedules will change as we get closer to the event.)

Most of them are not showing their Z's so if anyone is going and not showing their car there will still be a group of Z's to park with. But I'm hoping most of us will show our cars :driving:

I started looking for a Amuse Bumper but I would have to pay out of pocket for it. When it comes to Sophie I have :shakes head:ADD. Its hard for me to stay on track, I want function over sexy right now. Then I'll go for sexy!!!

I need to get the SC installed so I can keep up with all you guy's. I ordered the last few items I needed today. It would get installed sooner if I had some lights to build out for you guy's :tiphat:
