Some sort of penetrating oil wouldn't hurt either. Just try and keep that stuff off the nut to avoid the wrong surfaces getting slippery. If that doesn't work you can

Some sort of penetrating oil wouldn't hurt either. Just try and keep that stuff off the nut to avoid the wrong surfaces getting slippery. If that doesn't work you can break out a blow torch. it will force the nut to expand away from the stud and help you break it loose. I used a torch and extractor bolt on my last adventure and that combination worked for me.
