Z1 has full synthetic oil from Redline, one of the best oils you can use, pricy. I use Pennzoil Full Synthetic. I do a lot of work on cars but I still go to Wesley Chapel Nissan for all my servicing. If I ever sell my Sophie I want my service records to show on Car Fax.
They do a great job and know how to change AT7 Fluid. Brandon took 8 hours to figure it out.

Thanks fellas, Kelly and I are always here to help, no matter what you drive. Working on a hood right know if all goes well, I'll be able to give you some vents on that Aluminum hood should keep engine cool as well.

Well consider me intrigued. Where are you placing these vents? If you say right behind the radiator to suck the hot air out as I drive, you'll be my new hero.

Thinking of this! Doesn't matter how many vents I put or were because the underside is getting a boxed in completely. I want to make 2 openings that the vents would draw the heat out from. Also helps with water and debris falling in engine bay as it would connect with the stock from part of the under hood and allow it to drain as needed. Also cleans up the underside of the hood.
I measured the hood and laid a line down the center to use as my half way mark. I plan on keeping the Vents in front of that 1/2 way mark. A few others on the forum did this with 2 vents and had good reviews. That area gets the most pressure to draw heat out. 70 mile hr with windows down and feeling the heat from the engine bay pass over the windshield is a good thing. Instead of strait cuts I'll use a slight curve and make each vent slightly wider giving it a nice look. Hey Team,
Just spoke to my contact at Andersen Race Park about a group of us running karts. They are having a special this Sunday (9/28), buy two sessions ($55) get one free. I know it's short notice but might still be doable for most folks. Who can make it this Sunday? If we can't get a good group let's lock down a day in the next few weeks and get the largest group we can. Sundays work best because it's rental karts only (less waiting between sessions). I'm out of town on the 6th but let me know if the 10/13 or 10/20 works better for you. Surly there's a way to set up a vote or poll on here but I have no clue, so I'll keep track the old fashioned way.

We were just discussing doing a Kart meet for CFZC. Why don't we set this up? I'm assuming this place is in Tampa? The 20th would work for me personally since i will actually be in Tampa the day before for a wedding. Let me know, and I can set this up as a club meet Last edited by Osiris; 09-24-2013 at 06:25 PM. |

He just got the clutch alignment tool in today. We will tackle the engine install Friday about 2pm. Everything has been moved over to the new engine. Then we can put the lights on.. can't wait to see it all together.

Damn you guys want to do my Clutch, Flywheel, CSC, and SS line for me? I do not trust any shops to take 1k dollars of my money and screw my car up. I do not know if it cost 1k or not but im sure it does, every other clutch install I have payed for has been at or near that.
Edit: Heck while your at it do my RJM clutch pedal too. Im sick of seeing it laying around I figured I would do it with the Clutch job.
