I hear ya, i was torn between either getting the smoked fog light or the diffuser. But very happy with the diffuser. The fitment is a challenge, and mine is far from perfect on the edges.

But you bought it, so Get it On !

Did you use a double sided tape to hold it on? The fitment issue is the only one that stops me from getting one. But yours looks right on the button.

Did you buy it directly from Evo R?

Used 3m double sided tape instead of the silicone provided. Got it from the Z store.

Trying to decide if I want something like this or if I should just hold out for an amuse rep rear bumper and the carbon fiber raptor front.

Well, I just finished a bunch of suspension work last weekend (Swift, Whiteline, H&R, rotors etc) and I have the rear stripped for amp install and sound deadening. Tomorrow, I have to run wires for rear cam and that zstore switch/wiring kit for the rear fog so I'll revisit the diffuser again.

My kit from the zstore came with a tube of silicone for adhesion but just that initial test fitting left me feeling there's going to be a lot more involved in attaching that thing. I've also considered making some diffuser like "fins" out of Plexiglass, mounting them and then Plastipping the area.

I do like the Amuse too but that won't be for a long, long time or unless a used one falls in my lap for a good price because I committed to that GTM TT group buy and scrambling to afford it.

That a nice list brother . You have been busy ! I love my Whitelines, best part I ever installed.. That sound deadening will be nice. I used the spray on sound deadening from Eastwood to cover the ruff spots and areas I couldn't reach all they way to the front firewall. Made a huge difference. Congrats on the build.

Oh man, I want the TT so bad but just can't afford it right now. I'll probably just wait for a lot longer and get the FI TT kit. Like, A LOT LONGER.

@huck

I can't either, haha. That's why it's going to be on layaway for a year or so.

Thanks! I was so busy with trying to get all this done, I didn't really have time to take a lot of great build/how-to photos and my hands were too greasy for the camera much of the time.

I do have a lot more photos and pseudo build thread I'm actually working on right now on our local club's site if you want to have a look. I had the help of a couple of friends for two days only so we rushed to get everything knocked out: 370Z suspension and brake upgrades with Jean and Ben

Not sure about autoX yet but I'm sure setting it up for that. I definitely want to meet everyone up in Tampa and I'm looking forward to it! Remember, I'm still brand new to the Z and the scene.

That's a great collection of parts, I'm jealous! If I don't need a camber kit I'm thinking about Whitelines next. Of course, I'm thinking about a lot of things next, but it all takes money. Anyone want to donate to Huck's Go Fast Foundation for slow cars?

From what I've read, folks generally don't need a camber kit for the slight drop the Swifts provide, just the bolts. I was in a good position after selling off a ton of similar Miata performance parts plus fortunate timing of someone selling all these Z parts cheap that I had to jump on it. I mean, it's really wheelin' and dealin' at its best, otherwise I couldn't have afforded all this at once.

I also have a bunch of great audio equipment from the old car, spools of wire and a couple rolls of Fatmat so the audio will be "free" this time, so to speak.
