Anyone own a pickup? Cars too damn small to bring some boxes home. We live in Channelside. Beer and food as compensation! Its a two mile delivery.

Hey everyone. Just picked up a Z a week or so ago. I'm from the Sarasota area. Look forward to modding this platform. Great car.

What model did you get?

Installed my whiteline front sway bar today :). Hopefully I'll tackle my rear traction and camber arms in the next week or so.

Anyone have any tips for getting a stripped lugnut off? Went to install my camber arms and one lug nut is stripped, not sure if I did it or the shop did when they replaced my tires a few weeks ago. :(

I always used extractors. Not sure which one you'd need but they are pretty sweet when you're stuck. I used them on my exhaust when I had some totally stripped and seized nuts and bolts and that with an impact wrench got them off. Good luck.

Good idea, just ordered some on Amazon, hopefully I can give it a try this weekend.

Some sort of penetrating oil wouldn't hurt either. Just try and keep that stuff off the nut to avoid the wrong surfaces getting slippery. If that doesn't work you can break out a blow torch. it will force the nut to expand away from the stud and help you break it loose. I used a torch and extractor bolt on my last adventure and that combination worked for me.

Anyone have anything planned this weekend? Now that I'm settled in and actually in town, I wanted to see what's going on. I need to make friends outside of work! I can help with installs, bring beer, hang out and clean up the cars, etc. I'm whoring myself out here!

Where at in Tampa are you? I'm in the Valrico/Brandon area. I'm probably going to attempt to get my stripped lug nut off and install my rear traction and camber arms Saturday morning, not a big job but come on by. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
