I did limo on the back tailgate as I cannot see s*** out of it anyways ;) Fronts a little under the legal limit, forgot the percentage. lets something like 15-18 % light in.

Trutactix 05-11-2014 05:33 PM

That has to be awful at night lol

I dont see anything out the back window even before the tint :roflpuke2:

Also, I wanted it for security, didnt want folks seeing what I have in trunk. I didnt want to spend over 200 notes on a factory blind either. Thus killed two birds with one stone per se.

PS Maybe it wasnt Limo black, it lets in about 5% light.

Spotted red 13+ Zee near Hernando Beach earlier today, he or she honked me.

That's limo but yeah mine has the blind...I just don't want a rainy night and I can't put down the Window to see lol its difficult in my first car cause of that crap

My side windows are not limo though. Personally I have never liked nor gone for limo in any of my previous cars. I just felt I needed to for this tail gate on this car. For my reasons I mentioned earlier .

30% is decent visibility at night time, but as far as heat: they have the special tint film that supposedly keeps heat out. its a little more expensive than normal tint but it might be worth it (if it does actually work).

I do what ever the lowest legal is. It can be a little tricky at night if the area isn't well lit. In those cases I stick my head out the window. I back in 99% of the time anyway so it doesn't happen often. Best thing for the heat are the ugly reflectors you put in manually but the tint will help to some extent.

Anyone going to SMF this weekend? Friends just backed out, so I may or may not still go... and I have 1 extra ticket for sale. Maybe 2 if I decide not to go also.

5% all the way around plus 85% on the entire front windshield with the 5% sunvisor strip up top.

Have you had any problems with the law having 5% all the way around?
