I think the mirrors are convex, no? I do not see how concave would help.

MX52Z 06-30-2013 09:48 PM

Yes, convexed.

I had a set of these on my Miata and they're pretty nice. I didn't trust the white adhesive tape that came with them so I used 3M automotive tape instead. It's so strong, I broke one of my stock mirrors trying to get them off.

I don't know if it's the same with the Z but some of us ordered stock JDM passenger-side mirror glass as an option to aftermarket, stick-on mirrors. The reason is, JDM Miatas are right hand drive so the passenger side mirror (our driver side) is convexed and their driver side is flat.

USDM Miatas are of course, left hand drive so our passenger mirror is convexed but the driver side is flat. Simply ordering a JDM passenger side mirror for our driver side yields a perfect set of stock convexed mirrors on both sides.

I bet the Z is exactly the same way.

Joe fitted my new toys to the car yesterday, and it looks great, I have not had chance to drive it in a 'spirited' way but just driving normal it feel tighter. The drilled and slotted rotors look a mazing, I'm going to wash the car later so I will take some pics and post them.
