Yes, $300 is the cost of the license. That does NOT include the cost of tuning the car, which can vary depending on where you go. I'd say average cost to tune is between $300-$450. So add that to the cost of license and you get $600-$750.

And that is only for the FIRST tune on the car. Any subsequent tunes would just be cost of tuning....license would already be present on the ecu.

Exactly, I don't want to be quoting the dyno tuning cost because that can vary depending if the car is NA or FI. My point was that if the shop is charging $450 for just the license then they are ripping people off.

Is there a website which posts all of the local shows? Or, is it mostly word of mouth?

I keep most of the shows in the second post of this thread. I listed two websites that I use and the rest is word of mount.

This is going to be quite an un expected shocker but we traded the wifes Z in today for an Xterra. Some of you may know we are looking for another house and she decided that it would be a good idea to trim some fat in the stable. Plus we have always wanted a truck or suv.

So if anyone is looking for a badass Z Nissan of Brandon has ours! Get with me before you go to buy it and I will hook you up with my sales person.

Sad to see it go :( Can we expect a pimped out Xterra?

Mr&Mrs 02-13-2013 04:30 AM

so after a 3 1/2 week wait for my evo R fog light to come in the mail, it arrived today. wheh. So when is that flush meet up and stuff? Ive contacted kelly to see if he will have the hood props in soon and id like to get my fog light and a set of hood props installed the same day as the full flushing. Anyone have a good weekend comming up that will work for everyone? Would be good to meet some people in person and say hello!

Mr&Mrs 02-14-2013 06:40 AM

I work the next 2 Saturdays before I have one off.

xxAGAVExx 02-14-2013 09:03 AM

I'm usually free on the weekends, so anyone would work. I ordered my Evo-r fog light and redline transmission fluid last week so hopefully I'll have them soon
