You shouldn't be getting a light after CBE install alone. Did you install test pipes? Are you able to read the error code?

Yes, check the error codes to make sure the O2 sensors aren't broken. If they look like they're fine, it just may be a tune that you need.

i only have CBE. and o2 sensor look fine coz the shop didn't touch it. and the code is P0456. but i wonder just install CBE and break the gas cap same time. i get light after several day. when i reset it the light back after 50 80 miles.

i do have K&n drop in. but it some months before the CBE. does it affect to???

i might get it tomorrow. i don't really think the cap. coz it just happen immediately after the CBE. but i go get it tomorrow. :ugh2:

Here's is a relevant post didn't get resolved but suggest gas cap as a possibility, and a few others. I'd stall the new cap and clear the code, see if it comes back, doesn't look like a cbe would cause that code.

I did a little more forum searching - the FI exhaust (and all the HKS style exhausts) require the removal of the EVAP heat shield by the muffler. Check that area to make sure everything is still hooked up properly.

This seems like the only logical place where you could touch something that ends up throwing that code.

I live in Largo, just got my Z less than a year ago and I absolutely love it. Definitely interested in meetups or clubs, didn't know any existed. I'm not much of a mechanic so it'd be great to be able to talk to people about these cars in person to get some insight and whatnot. Name is Sean, looking forward to possibly meeting with some of you.
