Best trouble free mod is the official Mazdaspeed Cold Air Intake. Adds 10-20hp and a nice sound with little to no side effects. However, you MUST make sure you buy the newer version which has the airflow straightener. Without this, the fuel trims will be off by a lot and you run the risk of a check engine light. You can also get some silicone boost tubes from StreetUnit which are a nice upgrade for boost stability. I'd get the new version of the mazdaspeed cold air intake, silicone boost tubes and a catback and call it a day with that car honestly.

Otherwise, there is not too much more to do that wont start to affect fuel trims noticeably. You need to be able to tune to get more involved, even for turbo inlets/test pipes etc. Also the turbos have a bad habit of smoking due to a poor PCV system so you want to make sure the warranty is honored under any circumstances. Mazda only has band-aid fixes for the PCV like using thicker oil, no real fix for it.

"Sorry for the none 370z related topic here"

But yes, her speed3 did have the white smoking issue until Dealer did a oil change with thicker oil. There is no sign of smoking so far and all the oil change is going to be free at the dealer until Mazda have come up witha real solution for the fix.
I was actually thinking to go with CPE SRI instead of cold air due to price and any hydrolock problem. But I know the dealer probably'll give us crap for that.

CPE SRI is good, but the CAI's give you a more linear torque curve. The SRI tends to make more power up top from my experience and are a bit jumpy when the heat soaks up. If you do go with an SRI though, definately get the CPE and not Cobb. The Cobb does not run well without a tune.
