Just tell me when. Then I can try to plan. And we are driving hard. No excuses!

Oct/Nov is probably about as late as would be safe for the mountain cruises. The cold weather brings snow, salt, gravel and awefull roads. Hit the twisties while you can!

The mountain cruise after C&C was a great idea...

Rooskey 10-12-2011 10:06 PM

Im interested so just a couple questions. Has there been an official date set yet? Also were is the meeting spot? I live near the Greenville Spartanburg (SC) airport so just want to know how long it will take me to meet up with everyone or if I can meet yall somewhere on the road in North Georgia.

if you go rooskey, i may just ride with you if that's cool. save me some gas and mileage on my truck. i'd just want to ride with someone once i got down there anyway

eddieconfetti 10-12-2011 11:16 PM

we should split into two groups. the ones that wanna go hard goes with kev and the granny drivers go with dai.

I say meet at the Gas station at the end of 400 like we did after the C&C last time around. Earlier=less traffic

SPOHN 10-13-2011 10:55 AM

I want to go way before C&O over. I'd be willing to meet at 8am at the Chevron at the end of 400.

Being Dai came up with this let him make the decision and if you can go, go. If not then.... That really would be simplier.

im a moderator. the group makes the decision. but ive been getting feedback and the amount of people who prefer sunday > saturday

so sunday.

yeah i was also though thinking 8 is a good starting time. 7 is too early this late in the season.

So 8 am on a sunday, chevron on ga 400.

Rooskey, how far are you from Atlanta ish? Patrick, maybe you can help give him an idea how far it is.

Now we need to settle on a day.

HKYStormFront 10-13-2011 11:06 AM

he's roughly 30 mins past me on i85 so 2.5 hrs or so

SPOHN 10-13-2011 11:15 AM

Sounds good Dumi. I mean Dai.

Rooskey 10-13-2011 12:07 PM

Yep 2.5 hrs. Dai can you post up the route that we will be taking?

I will have to let JvkIn (John) post that up. Truthfully, i kinda know it as.. turn left here... turn right there.. look for the sharp left turn etc. :-D

Ive tried to put some of these together, but truthfully, others with more intimate knowledge of the routes have always led us.

John! if you read this. post up my man.
