Specialized shops for 370Z's in the Raleigh, NC area.
I'm looking for trustworthy shop in the Raleigh, NC area. A shop owner that I'm able to build a relationship with who's can tackle basic things as routine oil changes or performance upgrades without me having to following and making sure not only was the job performed to standard, but my car isn't returned with new blemishes that aren't accounted for. The dealer doesn't cut it as we are just another job for them (as if they were performing a favor instead of a service) and most performance shops here seem to lean towards the Honda side. Any suggestion are welcome.
Also, looking for other members in the area. I love the fact that I drive something that isn't seen in every corner, but would love to meets others with the same taste to ask question, suggestions or just to hangout and network. Thanks, see you guys around! Last edited by Oh_yea?; 06-23-2011 at 12:27 PM. Reason: correction |

That would be great, share the feedback and experience. I've talked to them as well and mention they specialize in 300z but were open to newer models. I'll touch faces with you again and find out about your experience. Thanks for replying.

I never made the rules, North to me means North, but if you ask any local, North Carolina is consider the south? I just roll with the punches, hence the reason for the location of this post, still a great place to live.

Wondering what happen?

I bit the bullet and recently took my Z to the dealer for an oil change (Souther States Nissan in Raleigh), in a nut shell, the tech stained the leather on my seat including finger prints around the dash, steering wheel an such. I received an apology and a free oil change on my next visit from the clerk that rang me up. The tech returned and attempted to wipe of the mess with some spray that he was unfamiliar with? The gesture was kind of him but I won't be returning. I tried and again failed horribly. |

I'm also looking for someplace trustworthy to get routine maintenance done in the cary / raleigh area. Took my 2012 to Leith nissan for my first oil change.... and ya terrible experience. I can't go back or I just might lose it. Basically they treated my car like it was a dollar store item. From unnecessarily revving the engine to using the paint as a clipboard to write on. Oh and terrible terrible attitudes from one of the workers.
My brother told me today that Premier Z has since closed, moving back to / consolidating in Florida. So still looking for a reliable place to get an oil change. Looks like it's happy japs for me unless anyone else has any new suggestions? -Dan |
