GA Mountain Run: June 5th After Caffeine and Octane
 

Mountain Run.
Sunday June 5th
Right after Caffeine and Octane.

Caffeine and Octane is at:

7730 North Point Parkway
Alpharetta, GA 30022

We are planning to be at Caffeine and Octane by 6:30AM to get good parking and line up together. See this thread for details and were to park http://www.the370z.com/south-east-re...-june-5th.html
Good parking is only available if you get there early!!

If possible lets try and fill up before getting to caffeine and octane so we have as much mountain run time :)


Mountain Run: We will leave C&O at 9. We can all plan to fuel up at exit 14 or 15 at around 9:30 (if anyone wants to meet here instead of going to C&O).


A couple of notes:

1. I am borrowing this list of notes from Dai's list.
2.We want every to be safe and dont push yourself if your not comfortable.
3. Leave VDC on yo!
4. If people have 2-way radio's please bring them
5. We try to stick together, stop every so often for everyone to group up again.
6. Never pass in oncoming lanes.
7. Be respectful of other people using the roads.
8. Peeing out the windows and onto the Z/G behind you is frowned upon.(and generally cleaning the windshield)
9. Be wary of road conditions. (Leaves/water/loose gravel = slippery ****)
10. I wanted a 10 item list more than Dai's list that he had for the May Mtn Run.

I'm figuring we head up GA400 to the Chevron station (We could get Gas there actually) and then make the run from there.

10 items is just too much for one list!!

Think I may have work that day... But I would be useless in this heat without an oil cooler yet anyways!!

I'm in but meeting @ the gas station @ 9:00-9:30 is better.:tup:

Ok, we can leave C and O a little early to get to the chevron by the latest 930.

Where did y'all end up during the last mountain run? Let's see if we can plan a different route this time..(or not).

Nah - no oil cooler needed. Last time I ran in 90 degree weather, I had no issues. You're not flooring it for long periods of time - you will be fine.

John, this is the chevron off of GA 400 I believe. We get onto South Chestatee rd to get to Blood mtn.

Okay, thanks - I'm still in a limbo if I shall meet at the Chevron or at C&O

Ok, either place is fine.

According to my last video it should take us about 20 to 25 minutes to get there from caffeine and octane.

We should get a confirmed list together just to make sure how many people we have going..

Count me in, I plan on getting up EARLY to make it to C&O and then drive north with you guys. How long do you plan on driving in North GA before heading home?
