Yes as bad as it is bound to be, its still gonna be fun to watch...

anyone interesting in meeting up for FF5? Although I am personally thinking not mall of GA, or not some crummy theater where there are bound to be more morons than not. (Last FF Movie, everyone was peelin outta the parking lot, cops had a field day)

Thoughts? Ideas? Brain Waves?

studio movie grill is a great theater! but i think we're headed up to AMC Mansell, my brother and some of the other cars used in the Atlanta scenes are displaying over there.

hrmm.. AMC mansell is a decent theater. My fav is Medlock bridge (the seats are nice)

Lets see who all is interested and then we can plan where to go.

Okay, people lets chime in on what theater. Once we get a consensus, We need to buy out tickets ahead of time most likely. I could even just try giving the theater a call and just see if they do group discounts etc (never hurts to ask).

My votes are for (AMC Mansell, Medlock Crossing, or Perimiter)

i say perimeter. I would want to go to cafe intermezzo after.

The G guys are trying to organize something as well but it doesn't look like we've gotten too much accomplished ha. But yeah I'm definitely down and will bring some others along if you can get something figured out.

Also, Friday or Saturday?

i'd say Friday. its more fun opening night. Thats why i wanna get this figured out latest tuesday, so everyone can get their tickets ahead of time.

To allow for traffic/travel and people working i'd say we should pick something around a 8-9 show. We could also meet upf or dinner before if people wanna.

P.S im a stickler for getting to new movies about 30 minutes early (esp when you know its gonna be packed)

i say 9 or later. I work near downtown and i get off at 7-8, so i dont wanna rush to meet up. unless yall wanna do it earlier. if that happens then u can count me out and ill go watch it by myself. =)

9 sounds good to me. Theater location doesnt matter since I am driving in from Chattanooga anyway.

good news and bad news!

Alot of movie theaters have not yet posted their movie times for Friday online.

Bad news is that of the ones that have (the ones we wanted) only AMC Mansell (where caffeine and Octane) is has a 9:30 showing. Regal 24 on I-85 north has one at 9:50.

The rest are either 8 or 10:15 +

So im moving my vote to AMC mansell. Its a good area, no shenanigans, easy to get to (right off 400).

Any thoughts? Or do people wanna do a 10+ one?

It really wouldn't matter to me. Mansell would be a fine place to watch it at.

AMC Mansell is fine with me. let me know when the tickets are available or if you want to pick me up 2 tickets I will paypal you for them.

What about Cobb Pkway? Park 12? Its a good theater, has a well lit parking lot.

Movie times there are 9:20 and 9:55?? It should be alot more central than amc mansell.

Dai, on FB, there is a Fast Five movie premier and car display this Friday from 5-11pm. The location will be at the Regal 24 on 85. Should be a few cars showing up!

It looks like most of the cars/people used as extras in the movie will be there.

Int'l Allstars and basically a lot of people plan on going, so why not?

FB says 5-11. Looks like there's a 7pm showing and a 9:50 showing. So I'm guessing people are going to start showing up at 5 to hang out and have a meet, and then all head in for the movie at 7.

And man, I remember you saying you didn't like the drama, it's the internet, just hit delete on the stupid people.

im down for regal on 85 then. 9:50 is good for me. gives people who have work time to make it out.

We could all find someplace to eat before hand and head over together as well for those who can make it out early!

Come check out the movie with other car enthusiasts, and see some of the cars used in the movie! Some may not know, but some scenes in Brazil were actually shot here in Atlanta.

Thanks to Alex F. (International All-Stars NSX-T), Regal Hollywood Stadium 24 will be having cars on display for the movie premiere of Fast Five. There is no extra charge to view the cars, just come on out!

9:50 movie time!

Try to be there at 9. We can look at some of the cars, then get in line early for good seats!

I am gonna call them right now and see if they are willing to hold tickets etc. Will post how that goes.

I just picked up 5 tickets myself so if anyone needs one or two and cant buy em ahead of time let me know. I can always pick up a few more.
