Different Derek (not sure why all Nissan mechanics are named Derek lol), but wife and I have been using our friend Derek for all our Nissan maintenance since 2009. He is the BEST Nissan mechanic in the country imo. And no that’s not hyperbole, dude can rebuild a gtr dct trans overnight with one hand tied behind his back. (Ok, the one handed part is hyperbole). |

Been doing tons of research on shops in Tampa that specialize in Z's/G's. Fever Racing is most likely out of the question, as I've heard/read horror stories about that.
I came across Full Send Motorsports and Performance of Tampa and seeing if anyone had any experience with them. I tried looking at their website and it looks like there is another similar shop but located in GA. I checked out their FB page and it seems like they know what they are doing and mostly positive reviews, but need relevant opinions from those that have work done by them.

So this week some jerk decided he was more important than everyone else and tried to illegally go around me while exiting the gas station (the truck in front of me was carrying glass replacement windows and I knew he wasn’t going to speed out into traffic but I guess the jerk behind me couldn’t wait the extra 30 seconds). So said jerk slammed into my 370Z causing a whole lot of damage. Any recommendations on a quality body shop around Tampa area?
