FL is flat land no mountainous areas....Maybe some sharp curves but with city traffic I doubt if you can make a 60mile pass.

That is why I'm looking of moving to North Carolina up in the mountains if I can find a job. I like to leave in a cabin house.

Ok so I had a little problems with my z as some of you might know, had a nail in my tire, my fuel was contaminated, cleaned it out with fuel injector cleaner works fine now but my check engine light is still on, stopped sputtering and maintains good rpm at idle. But the VDC light comes on and loses power I'm thinking it might have been the tire but roamed around the threads with it and found it might be the throttle body, what do you guys think? I still am going to take it to Deland Nissan.

Describe "loses" power? Does the light stay on? Any other lights along with it? When this happens, can you rev the engine past 2500rpm? If you shut car off and back on do the symptoms go away?

It happens when i am on the highway or after I have been driving a while. Losing power meaning not much acceleration but still can go. It stays on but turns off when I turn on and off the car.

Yeah, take it to Derek. He'll get you straightened out. I had a fouled throttle body on my Cougar some years ago and it had very laggy acceleration. Good luck.

That's weird, I wonder why a dirty throttle body would make the VDC light come on? I thought that came on only when it was something wrong with steering, traction, or braking. Let us know how it turns out!

Huck

What type of stillen pulley you have? Is it the underdriven?
Any significant change with acceleration?
I ordered the Standard type.

Mine is the standard size, I got it brand new off of a member here for a very good price. I don't notice a difference in the butt dyno, it adds maybe 4-5 hp, but when you blip the throttle it's much more responsive, and it smooths out the acceleration some. The standard size weighs I think 1.5lbs, and the stock one is 6.5lbs. Big difference. I think you'll like it. If you have any questions on the install let me know.

seems she is getting slight limp mode. When mine went into limp mode, the VDC, Airbag, Check Engine lights all came on.
