Not sure what your speaking of. Mine lift is the type you drive up on (ramps). Two point or post have two mounting points one on each side of the car. Each post would have two swing arms that you would align to the jacking points on each side of the car. Is that what your thinking of. I wish I had one. They cost more but you can find deals on them all the time.
So far as the jack points on the lift (the pads) they should be fine for there should be rubber pads. But they do wear and if they have wore so far there is a thick round metal edge you don't want hitting your pinch points under the car. But they last a long time. I have seen shops place wood there to help cushion but not sure how there mounted. So do some research before doing so. Wouldn't want one to slip. I haven't worked around them so I don't know the tricks of the trade there. |

I don't know about the header install. I swore to never do that again after I did them on my 350.
