I don't recognize your screename, but if you want to PM me your real name, and I will check with my staff and see if they put together an estimate or have some notes in the system. If you were quoted multiple hours like that, perhaps it was pro style studs that require the removal of the OEM studs, and the longer studs are draw through the hub. Depending on the length of the stud, removal of the hub is also required. Most spacers, like Eibach and H&R come in both version. Ones with the studs built in, and one where the studs are separate. We try to be as competitive as possible with pricing, and to distinguish ourselves with high levels of customer service and expertise. Apples to apples, you're going to find a great overall value here. I can't tell you how many of our customers have my personal cell phone, and have texted or called me on Sunday at 9pm with a question...and I reply right away. I've come in on Sunday by myself and physically opened the shop to help someone need. We never stop over here, if someone has a question or something they want to chat about. Z1 and Forged have a good relationship, and like they said, check out both shops and you all can make a decision for yourselves. Speaking of which, the monthly G/Z meet at Perimeter is this Sunday at 3pm. If anyone wants to meet up, we'll be at the shop at 2:00pm for staging.

I almost let this thread go but couldn't. I'm going to bring it back to life, for my post anyways.I feel from what I read there some little but not really to harsh comments against Forged. There is so much I can say here I don't know where to start. So don't read into it to much. Because then it takes long conversion to really explain details. But I will be glad to call you to discuss.
At first when I bought my 2005 350Z Z1 was the only place I heard of. Not sure when Forged actually opned there doors and made a name for there self. Close to this time, I think. I started talking to Z1 and there staff couldn't get you off the phone fast enough even if you were buying. I looked into a turbo setup and they slandered a perticular kit over another. Just as Forged does. This is understandable. Good thing is, most kits out there are great. I had Z1 headers at one time and went with a turbonetics kit. Z1 told me there headers would work with the kit beyond a doubt. Did not even by a mile. Costing me a hole days work and wasted money. So don't hate a another company because you perfer another due to little things here and there. They all have there up and downs. So then in the middle of all this I came across Forged. Never looked back. Sharif's tuning is top notch on this side of the states, IMHO. Very detailed and personal tuning unlike others. I did alot of my own work and had Forged pick up my slack. I know Forged tells people certain prices. But I can't tell you enough of how much work for free he did for me and I know of more with others. I'm talking thousands in labor. Free advice knowing it would lose them money. I've been out of the loop and don't know of all the things that went on. But I don't care. I'll be with the majority of Forged till they close. I guess are personalities take us to different shops for different reasons. They just fit there. I have nothing against Z1 now. Hope to do business with them also and build a relationship too. But they still have to prove there customer service to me and treat me as a friend. That's how I like to be treated by everyone. But I haven't given them the chance yet either. I wish I could talk to someone there and start over. I can say that Forged does like to push a sale on you not taking in consideration of your build of what's really needed for your car. But that was a long time ago to. So there you go, the up and downs of life. No one is perfect. Them or you. Peolpe are so judge mental. That's the problem with the world. I'm quilty of this to. Let's be a Z family and not a shop family. Which that's what it soundis like it's coming to. You can take this as you wish. But let's all meet in the middle please. Else where going backwards in life. Thanks! |

Yawn, that made me tired. Can we close this thread now and avoid further grammar nightmares? Pick your shop when you get stuff done, nuff said.

Sorry I don't meet your needs. Not everyone has the best grammar. I know I don't. Something I've struggled with my hole life. But if it makes you feel better about yourself go ahead. It defines you. Just defending my place of business.

Agreed to close the thread, but only b/c its old, not b/c someone is brining up something that others dont want to come up again....
