Official South Carolina thread
 

Being that everything seems to be official now, I decided to start this thread. Post things like:
- Spotted another 370z in South Carolina (when, where, color, distinguishing marks like mods, etc).
- Meets and drives with other 370z owners.
- Auto-x and track day events in the area.
- Great roads to drive.
- New local owner introductions (when, where, color, trim, etc)
- and anything else that relates to the area.

And props to the Red 370z I followed home from work last night (A lowered sport model on I26 west. He got off on the Ladson Rd exit.). He prompted this thread. :tiphat:

Ok, so I had to drive downtown today. I spotted a black comvertible Z (top down) on the cross town. I was jealous. Definitely the perfect day for top down driving.

spotted a lady driving a PW 370Z down 153 in Piedmont a few days ago....she's the first female 370Z driver I've seen here in the upstate

All of the sudden I have seen several Zs in the last few days after I haven't seen any for months. Yesterday I spotted (at about 1:15pm) a white Touring 370z on Ashley Phosphate (North Charleston) and then today (at about 7:15am) I spotted a black cherry convertible with the red top headed East on I26 (North Charleston). Both very nice looking cars!

Theres a pretty young looking girl driving a white nismo, she was next to my red nismo. Lol Theres going to be a meet in kings mountain, NC this sunday, if anyone's interested.:stirthepot:

I wish I could go but I'm on "honey do" duty this weekend. Take pictures and post them up.

I will! Im hoping to go to the isle of palms that next weekend; last time I brought it all the surfers and swimmers were looking at it and taking pictures lol good time

there is an autox in clemson saturday if anyone is interested. Clemson Sports Car Club :)

it's all good, i will post in here when the next one is scheduled, i believe it won't be until january though

Hopefully I will be able to make it up for one in the spring.

Anyone interested in paintball? We have a private group getting together at Paintball Charleston Dec. 12th. PM me if interested. The more people the better and cheaper it will be.

Actually, a couple friends and I are going to Low Country Paintball on the 11th and 12th just south of Savannah, GA for the "free finale". We typically go to 6 or 7 large scenario games per year all around the south east.

Sounds like fun. I've never done a scenario. Are they open to everyone?

just an FYI, the Clemson club is having one last autox this semester next weekend on the 11th. this will be a toys-for-tots charity event so if you have the time, participate in both!

Dec 11| Charity Autocross

unfortunately i will be in FL for The Run 8 with the Florida Z Club but that doesn't mean ya'll shouldn't try to make it!

They are open to anyone. Most preregister because it's typically a little cheaper, but walk ons are welcome too. Paintball Charleston hosts 1 or 2 scenario games a year too.

I'm already committed to the group on the 12th. Let me know when the next Paintball Charleston scenario is. I will definitely try to come out.


BTW - I spotted a gorgeous 40th pulling in to North Woods Mall at lunch today. I love the dark wheels with the Red calipers. If anyone wants to trade me I will be happy to throw some cash on top (when I get some that is. Mod fund is depleted after yesterdays parts order. lol).

Is this woods or speed? Last time I played woodsball was with the army.

It's woods ball. I don't think there is an active speed ball field anywhere in the area. Paintball Charleston is pretty nice imo but I have only played at a hand full of fields. They have about 10 fields set up with different types of barriers and structures.

So I spotted a black base Z at Towne Centre last night....... It was about 7pm..... anyone?

I spotted a black nismo 370z in Seneca

I spotted one down here too maybe same guy.

Maybe me. I drive around Anderson, Pendleton, Clemson, Seneca daily. When and where did you see the black Nismo?

About a week ago driving down 123, about 7:30 in the morning. I was in the black 370 behind it. I think it turned at the palms gas station.

saw a black 370 sport at haywood mall parked in front of macy's today...

Saw an old lady in a gray 370z last night. In fact I always see old ladies in them around here.

That was definitely me on the way to work.

Well glad I didn't do anything stupid. I did do like 60 threw Clemson to catch up you. Ive never seen a black Nismo.

So I spotted Z at lunch today (I always see them at lunch. Never any other time. hmmm). It was a PG Nismo with a bright red polka dot christmas present in the back. Spotted turning left on to Ashley Phosphate from the interstate. And she was really dirty if I might add. If the owner is on here, please consider giving the Z a quick bath. Otherwise you have very beutiful Z! :tup:

Atlanta needs to incorporate SC as part of it.

LOL dai. i think we need to plan a mini clemson/anderson meet when you and james come up here. get will and some of these other guys in this area together for dinner/drinks etc

I seen a white one yesterday but i'm guessing none from lexington are ever on here but me :(
