I was literally right beside a DPD tahoe... I was going the speed limit lol. Also, the road was already pretty rough so I was taking it easy. I just happened to be looking at the Tahoe on my left when I hit a pothole the size of the car which sent us damn near airborne!

I haven't heard otherwise so I guess we're sticking with Zoe's around 7pm, then karting after (probably just one session unless we want to do more) after.

Sounds good, although the weather looks thunder-stormy by that time(as usual) so I guess I'll be riding dirty in the Impreza...which I've never washed...because beaters are great...maybe one of these days I'll replace the transmission...but probably not...

I swear the past two weeks have been listed as 'Isolated T-Storms, 30% chance' and it has rained for maybe 10 minutes combined.

Isn't that the damn truth. I just don't drive my Z in the rain anymore if I can avoid it...we'll see what the weather brings as always

Yeah I'll probably be in my truck for that exact reason. I plan to wash my car this afternoon after work and I was going to drive it but I'd rather just wait till C&C and keep it clean. *shrugs* Oh the joys of owning a black car...

Does anyone have a shop they can recommend to get test pipes put on my Z? Zensation recommended Heads Up in Spartanburg, but they said they would outsource this job to Rick's Muffler (also in Spartanburg); however, after a call to Rick's Muffler he declined to perform the work.

I have the test pipes in hand and really don't think the car will give much trouble having <400 miles but I still would rather have a shop do it. Unless someone else has experience and will help for beer

If you are up for a drive, I'd highly recommend CIN Motorsports in Charlotte for any Z related work. I can understand not wanting to drive that far for something so small but I honestly only get the little stuff done on my truck at the dealership and all my big maintenance stuff I do at either CIN in Charlotte or Z1 Motorsports in Carrollton, GA. CIN (and Z1) are full service Z specialists, good at both installs and tuning. If you are coming to dinner tomorrow we can talk about it more in person. Since your car is so new, I wouldn't be as hesitant to try to do it myself but I've heard those upper bolts are a big PITA to get to, even with extensions and swivel sockets. Also, plan on having extra bolts if the test pipes didn't come with them. Chances are at least one will break and you will have to replace it.

Hey guys I have a factory 370 Nismo exhaust system for sale. If any one is interested or knows some one that is shoot me a pm. $250.00 takes it. It only has about 3,000 miles on it.

I am interested. I was thinking of an axleback but I think the Nismo would hold me over with test pipes. Where are you located?

The Nismo is a little louder than the OEM exhaust on your Z but not by much. The advantage of buying one second hand like this is you could probably get most of your money back out of it whenever you decide to go with something else. When that time comes, I'd go with Fast Intentions. I think that's what Rooskey had on his car, I know that's what phantom just got from jtodd and they sound amazing, perform well in gains and most of all, fit extremely well, something most aftermarket exhausts can't claim until you get into the really high dollar stuff like Amuse.

PM sent. Yea I would definitely go with this system over just an axle back set up. The nismo exhaust has a true H-pipe, and goes from the cats to the tips.

I've used Danny's for several things over the years and I've not had a bad experience to date. That being said it's a little place and very small town-ish so expect that sort of thing. Also, for just installing an *exhaust* I'd do it yourself, it's about as basic as it gets and takes about as long as changing oil if you have the right tools and a way to get the car over your head.
