Nice ride Matthew! I looked at the jeeps again the other day when Big O Dodge had me doing some curbing for them. Still love them but dont understand why they changed the rims. The 2012 wheels where so much better looking. Plus no more tan color for this model year, wtf you know. Either way nice looking jeep. BTW we are headed up to the mustergrounds off of hwy 130 on the weekend of the 17th. It would be real cool if you could join us for some mild off roading.

I dont like the rims ether! I have a new set with some 35" on the way. Look up th color Dune, it will be released in a few months. Also they have really cool green out right now. The 17th is not good for me. But PM me the details and we will see.

We are headed up on late Friday afternoon (three ish), camping for two nights, and packing up on Sunday morning and heading back. If your off on friday and want to come up and ride a little and chill by the campfire thats cool too, but not much of anything is gonna be happening on Sunday. I put some 285's on my Chevrolet truck but it is still not really a good offroader due to the ground clearance. Since my son and I have gone to atv's there just seems to be more places to ride those around here rather than the trucks/jeeps. What lift kit are you going with? Also check out the JK-forum.com. Im registered on there too (same user name, but never on there since I never went through with getting one)
Call or text me if you can break free this weekend

As for now I will be working, bit I will let you know if something comes up.
I am going with the Aev dual sport xt lift, or the Rock Krawler flex. I'm still in the reading stages and compareing. All the money from the sale of my silver jeep is going right into this jeep. So if you know anybody let me know, it priced to sell.

Cool. Yea Aev makes some really good stuff. Just make sure you get something that rides good on and off road. I was gonna go with 35's so my plan was to go with the terra flex 2.5inch spring kit, but do all the other stuff like track bars, lower arms, etc. to make it right and line up correctly. This was the best set up that I could come up with to make it ride like stock, and not be to rough and bouncy on the trails

Yeah, I'm going with the Rock Krawler flex with the blisten 5100 shocks. It comes with everything to smooth out ride.

Good deal. Bilsten shocks are good but non adjustable (good onroad performance but, ride like a brick offroad). Consider the Rancho 9000's adjustables. On road they are a beast, plus by turning them down they ride like a cadillac off road. I will never buy another set of shocks. Trust me these shocks are so good that you will never even know that your Swaybar is missing. Go with the krawler kit but save your back with the other shocks
