Got the exhaust and HFC installed Saturday. The thing sounds like a rapped ape. It is alot louder than I thought it would be. I like it so far but I hope it settles down a bit after a few hundred miles.

Matt I was at Copper River Saturday night and didn't see the Z, but I guess that's why since your exhaust and HFC's got put on, unless it was around back (it wasn't in its normal parking place at least ha). Are you still doing the wheels??

No Cel yet. I am starting to get a small vibration coming from tje underside of the car. So I am going to take it back to the shop for inspection.

Saturday was the day I got pulled over so that was the only thing on my mind

Congrats on getting it installed. I look forward to hearing it.

The rattle could be a couple of the bolts coming loose. Mine did the same thing after I installed the LTH. Make sure to get it checked out asap. You don't want to completely lose them.

It could also be the Ark exhaust hitting the cross member. The Ark was not designed with enough clearance. You can adjust it a tiny bit to help from hitting.

How do you like the fit and finish of the ARK?

I'm not 100% sold on it yet. At some RPMs it sounds great!!! At others not so much I'm hopping the refitment will fix some of this. I am going Monday to have it reinstalled.

I have the ARK as well. My fit was about the same. if you pay close attention to the cross-member during installation then you shouldn't have a problem. I had to adjust mine when installing. Other then that i love it. No drone and Great sound. I haven't heard one yet with HFC so im really curious to how it sounds.

If you come up for the meet you will hear it with the HFC. It's sound mean!!
I'm just hopping that the sound I am hearing is vibration, and I will totally love it.

Yeah, we can get them on. However my weekends are booked until after the mountain cruise. The earliest I can possibly do it is the 27th (I'll check to make sure that weekend is clear). Springs have to be done on a Saturday so we can take the fronts to Geralds to have them compressed and springs swapped. Let me know if you think the 27th will work.

Alright guys, looking to maybe lower the car with some springs. I know Matt has H&R springs, anyone else? What's the best for the price if I decide to pursue this? Also, if I do, I was planning on 20mm spacers on all 4. Would that work ok?

I think I'm off Aug. 27, but I feel bad asking for help when your weekends seem to be busy.

My wheels should be in around Aug. 15. Then just a couple more weeks after that for my exhaust and LTH!
