Hey Will. Make sure the blue plastic washer (guide) does not move on your steering shaft. It is located at the end of it on the rack. IMO I would not trust a certified mechanic on it either. The only reason mine went back stock is becaused I marked it with a sharpee (On the opposite side). If not you will never know where the stock location comes in with your steering wheel and the rack. If you dont you may have a short turning radius to one side or the other. Draw a line from your shaft over the washer and onto the rack aswell. That will keep you straight.
