Ok so based on this week's BS. They have tomorrow. If my car is not FIXED tomorrow, I'm going to get it and keep it over the weekend. So I'll be able to make the meet if it's still going down Sat...

So, is the meet going down sat and if so, where is the meet up spot for the upstate people?

FYI If it's not fixed tomorrow, I won't be able to do any aggressive driving. Just so that's known if there's any sort of 'fun' bits on the agenda. Trust me, that aggravates no one more than me. :shakes head:

Yeah, you all need to let me know when you are going to try and cruise in to Charleston. I should be free around dinner time but the sooner I know the better chance I will have to meet up.

Supposedly my car should be fixed today. So I'll be looking to get it to an alignment shop asap this afternoon, or first thing tomorrow morning. After that, I'm all up for cruising. :tup:

We're going to meet at the Swansea/cola truck stop parking lot (exit 115) at noon, easiest spot for everyone in general, but we are also picking up more people on the way down. :D

Oooookay, so the update I just got, they've spent the last hour and 45 minutes trying to get my car on the rack. Apparently being lowered and having FI 1st gen pipes, the cans are hanging too low to get it on the machine. :mad:

I just told them if they can to take the rear sections off and get it on the GAWDDAMN machine, get it fixed and gimme back my key! :shakes head:

To the guys credit he's been up front with me and told me everything that's been going on. So it's not a fault on him, bad business practices, and my shitty luck are what are killing me. Otherwise the tech is a good dude.

Ok, he just called me back, and they tried backing the car onto the rack and it worked so my car is finally a week later getting the frame alignment checked. He said he's gonna call me back in an hour and a half to give me an update. He says the goal is to get it done today. They close at 6...

Sorry I couldn't make the cruise guys, the car ended up not getting finished, so it looks like Monday I will go there, and I am not leaving the building without my car. :ugh2: Then sometime later in the week I'll head down to Z1. :tup:
