Is anyone showing up on Thursday? We have about a 9 hour trip and should be there around 6:00ish at the hotel. Amy and I wanna hit a good dive to grab a bite to eat. We can get a pre-Run going on Thursday night and hang out.

We will wait for Friday or Saturday for the first annual fence burning at The Run 8 !!! :stirthepot:

I got mine cheaper online too, $60/night. Sucks that they offer cheaper rooms online than the discount they give you guys. Seems like they would at least make it the same because of all the business the event brings them.

If I understand correctly the hotel chain sell blocks of rooms to those online places so those prices are preset. Not sure what I can do at this date, but I'll make sure my contact knows that there's a cheaper price...undercut city! Times are bad. :tiphat:

when you guys check in, ask them about the cheaper prices online. get a print out of it if you guys see it now even if you have already booked.
