Like the topic says, I have about $600 to spend. What performance mod should I get? HFCs, headers, intake or something else? This will be the first mod for the car. Come on guys, give me some advise!
Thanks |

I'd get the Stillen G3 Intake and then go to Z1 for a dyno. You can post your thread with a poll. That makes it easier for people to give you and opinion and for you to see which item go the most votes. You may have to delete this one though. It's worth the extra time.

Hmm... I would save up a little more and get a catback.
Otherwise, HFCs are going to be your best bang for the buck mod. You could get FI, Berk, or Stillen for under $600. For considerably less (about $370) you can get the ERZ HFCs. If you got those, you could get Stillen sway bars as well.

Stillen G3, CBE is more important IMO, so I'd save for that if it's going to be awhile before you have the money for it again.

The thing about intakes is they really do nothing but sound cool. If you actually want power you can feel for under $600, HFCs are it.

I gotta do a little research on the ERZ HFCs. How are they compare with BERK's HFCs? |

There's a pretty big thread on them. The people that have them seem to be happy with them. I know spearfish is running them and has been very satisfied.

Depends on your state laws, I think.
I know in Virginia HFCs may pass an emissions test but depending on the shop could fail a visual inspection. Any modification to the emissions system of the car is illegal in VA.

No prob. I think the ERZ HFCs + sways would be a nice combo. Pick up a meaner exhaust note and a little more grunt AND cut down on some of that stock body roll.

Come to Z1, we'll take care of you. We can do a before and after dyno if you would like to see the gains. You're going to love that car if you don't love it already.

I also agree with HFCs. If state law prohibits you, I'd personally save up a little more money and go with a CBE.
