Like the topic says, I have about $600 to spend. What performance mod should I get? HFCs, headers, intake or something else? This will be the first mod for the car. Come on guys, give me some advise!
Thanks

Come to Z1, we'll take care of you. We can do a before and after dyno if you would like to see the gains. You're going to love that car if you don't love it already.

Thanks

A group of us are going out to Z1 on July 24th after our Atlanta GTG. You should definitely come if you're available. I'll most likely have my CBE installed and dynoed that day. I know some other guys are planning on getting some work done that day too.

There you go....

I haven't seen a county that they are illegal in.

well I would go Stillen G3 intakes as the first mod.

CBE are nice for sound and power, but the good power adder ones will run twice+ of your budget.

If you want the best bang for your buck though, i'd go with test pipes + y-pipe. Might run you about half of our budget and give you the best power gains (not just peak but overall full powre band, AKA useable power)

Also test pipes + y-pipe will run around half your budget.

ALSO John! reread my PM!!

anybody know how much will a HFCs installation run for me?

Buy my exhaust for $400 w/ free install and take the $200 and put it toward lowering springs!

He has the Invidia. I've seen the vehicle in person. Beautiful car and the exhaust tone is pretty nice too. You can't go wrong for that price. Kev is a good guy, he'll hook you up.

is the exhaust going to be loud for a DD? I've looked for the sound clip on youtube but to hear in person is probably more ideal:tup::tup:

Sound is a pinch louder then the NISMO exhaust. Once you install High Flow Cats or test pipes then it gets loud and a bit raspy! If you just run the exhaust then you'll be fine!

Thanks James!

atl370z 07-12-2010 10:18 PM

I was worry about the raspy issue. Do you have HFCs with your exhaust?
I am very interesting in your exhaust, can we meet up some where so I could listen to it?

daisuke149 07-12-2010 11:05 PM

damn kev if i knew you were selling it would already be on my car!
