Hmm...Not sure if you're talking about the same place.

This is at Taco Mac Perimeter. We figured it would be central to everyone (Canton, Alpharetta, Gwinnett, Southside, etc.)

There are PLENTY of parking (for hundreds of cars). It's not in front of taco mac but on top of the deck.

Also, we have a lot of Slammed cars that made up there without any problem. Never once did we hear any complaint from others. The Maxima group also has their meets there as well and they were very nice and friendly.

I'm just throwing the options out there for everyone. We have different cars too: Euro, domestic, etc. that came to the meet. But it's mainly Nissan Z and G cars.

FYI, here's couple pics from one of our meet:

Anyhow, I'll continue to post up our reminders for the monthly meet. Any one is welcomed to come out to meet, chit chat, and dine with us. We don't favor any cars as we're all Automotive enthusiasts.

Also, with regards to specific "events", we'll have these things posted properly. Please keep in mind this is just a monthly meeting structure.

Events such as Dyno day, Mod day, Detailing day, N.GA Mountain cruise, etc. are being held separately.

July 15 - I'm going with my brother to the NSXPrime meet in Cobb County, in case anyone else wanted to crash their party with me! ;)

in reference to an above post: i'd vote on a 2nd sat/sun of the month for a regular meet. so that would give the varsity&CO the first weekend, 370z the second weekend, 350z the third weekend, and whatever else is open for the end of the month...

yup i'd say second saturday is my preference.

Also I dontknow how to do double quotes, but yes James, lets do a July Meet. Weekend of 24th.

I'll start a Another thread for a 24th meet. Lets keep this one on track for discussion of the monthly agenda.

Actually, its the perfect spot. When the weather is nice, we are on the bery top, and if its not, one level down. Neither level has ever been crowded, and I never had problems with my lowered cars there. I think my current setup might have problems, but I scrape on bumps in the road.

Another thing that I would be up for in the fall, is something we used to do when the 350Z was new, and that is to have a mod day/picnic at my house. Gives the chance for people without tools or experience to install stuff on their car with the help of more knowlegable people, and builds a great sense of community.

Hey Mike! thanks for that yes. I like the idea of a mod meet / bbq in a personal setting. I think like you said its the best way for people to learn about their cars by working on it themselves with help.

but if thats the best thing for everyone go for it! lets try to make 90% people happy or something

but again as i stated, if we are going to meet at one place every month, i would really like a shop type location. I would not prefer a restaurant (same one) every month.

But like lets say august, hey lets meet at the whatnot restaurant somewhere.

september though, hey lets do a dave and busters thing, we can chat in the parking lot for a few hours and then go street race in video games!

btw! woo people are pitching in ideas i like it!

and @forged we never mind a gt-r being there. Of course.. you'll have to share it!!

That's a great idea Mike. Thanks for offering your house for a mod day/picnic. When would you be able to host this mod day/picnic?

Thanks again for offering your place. I think that will be great.

we could plan something for september. As long as I plan well in advance, I can get the time blocked off from both jobs. I also have to check the track schedule, but right now, I'm thinking mayb the 1st weekend in september, while its still pool weather.

thats sounds great. first weekend is labor day weekend so unless people go out with families on labor day, it should be open for almost anyone.

Also my bday is soon after so I might convince some family members to buy me moreparts! haha

That's Labor Day Weekend. I think that's a good weekend. Do you prefer Saturday or Sunday?

What do people think?:driving:

I was just venting. :tiphat:

I'd never ask the entire state of GA to come to the opposite side. ATL is a great spot for stuff. Centrally located and lots of places to choose from. There will be plenty of opportunities for me to take a drive on the weekend, especially if it's in the heart of ATL. The drive to Z1 wasn't bad at all, and I'm looking forward to doing it again!

If labor day weekend is ok with everyone then sat or Sunday will work

Good idea Mike. I sure miss the mod days (more like poolio).

But I'll be out of town that weekend. Any other ones should be fine though
