Last Minute Zdayz

i was checking their website out... i'm thinking of leaving the Buford, GA area early saturday morning to make it for the car show. however i had a few questions.

i'm not a registered attendee, but i plan on registering for the car show. does anyone know if i have to register for the whole weekend event for me and another guest? or do i just pay the $20 alone to register for the car show?

i would hate to drive up north to be turned away. thanks in advance!

if anyone else is last minute, lmk if you want to caravan together.

From the Zdayz website:

"Online registration is currently closed for ZDayZ. If you have not registered, you still may register onsite at the rec hall which is located in the middle of Fontana Village Resort. You can get a map at the front office."

You will need to be a registered Zdayz attendee in order to participate in the car show. In other words, the $10 car entry is in addition to the actual registration entry.

If you and a guest are each doing the car show and staying for Saturday only, the cost breakdown would be:

Saturday primary registration: $45
Saturday guest registration: $30
Car show entry #1: $10
Car show entry #2: $10
Total price = $95 for two people

You can register as a walk-up beginning at 9am on Saturday. Cya there!

Thanks for the cost breakdown, a little more steep than what I expected for what I'll take in as a 'car meet'. I'll just plan on next year when I can partake in the other events, lunches, and dinners.

On a side note, I'm sure this event has been successful in the years past, but wouldn't the event expect a better turnout if there was just a car show participant only fee instead of the whole weekend fee? or is that meant to keep some type of exclusivity (sp?) for the weekend?

Its kind of far for a one day drive out car show. Its still running full with over 400 participants for the weekend. We took up the entire village and people still had to stay off site.

glad to hear the turnout was good, i'll be looking forward to attending next year when i plan it out a little better!
