The Mitty April 29 - May 2, 2010 - Road Atlanta

This is an event I attend every year in addition to the Petit Le Mans. I usually camp out Friday and Saturday night there. It'd be nice to have a 370 turn out there. I know I didn't see any there last year. The Georgia Z Club is always there but I think we are an elite group all of our own, plus I don't want to pay club dues.

There are club parade laps around the track as well as general group laps as well for a fee. Just want to see who in the area would be interested in going.

Feel free to ask me any questions about the event. We always camp out with a view of turn 10a and 10b right at the end of the straight away. You can see a view of that turn in my albums of my old car.

I will be there...look for my '06 Dodge Ram with the Z1 Logo across the back glass hiding out. I ll be camping 3 days and 2 nights. I ll also have my '92 Nissan 300zx "Slick Top" there as well.

Also, on an interesting note:

Nissan North America, B.R.E. and Nissan Motorsports will be debuting their new 40th Anniv. BRE Edition NISMO 370Z. I cannot wait to get a look at this thing.

Generally between Turns 4 and 5. Its on a hill. But NO ONE ever camps there usually.Its quiet and no retards coming flying through our camp with bikes or ATVs. I ll have my Z parked in the Nissan paddock over night. They are doing a Nissan Parade lap session for all Z cars.

Are you bringing out the 370Z?

Yeah I'm bringing my car. I'll keep my eye out for ya. Is the Z parade lap only for clubs?

Not from I was told. Since Nissan/Datsun is the featured manufacturer, ALL Z cars are welcome. You just have to mention it to the gate staff and parking personell so that they can park your Z with the rest of the cars in the appropriate paddock.
