I called Appalachia and they're booked. If anyone has any recommendations, let me know. Looking at a microtel about 40 minutes away and Susan is looking at airbnb places.

We did the mircotel our first year. Wasn't bad. Just the drive at night. Did you check with Tapaco Lodge? We stayed there our 2 year. Nice place.

If we couldn't stay at the Village. We would stay there.

Susan found a nice airbnb in almod. About a half hr from fontana. $99 a night. Microtel will be a last resort. The fancy hotel rooms that you mentioned are close to $300 a night. No Bueno.
