Southern "Winter" preparation?
What's everyone's opinion of the winters down here in the South? (GA/FL/AL)
I've never driven a sports car in the south, so I'm not sure whether I should be a little worried, or not at all. I plan, for now, to keep my summer performance tires on year-round. If it snows <1 inch, I'll probably tough it out and drive to work (only 2 miles or so), but I've never seen snow in my area (deployed in the military during the 03 "blizzard") So how does everyone feel about it? Pretty comfortable with keeping everything the same? Mind you, I don't have a beater to rely on if the weather does get bad.

I come from New England and used to do the winter wheel thing, no more!! I drive year round now and if there is weather just be careful for a few hours until things clear up. I would think you'll be OK!
