South Florida Audio Shop?--terrible shop experience
AUDIO SHOP NEED--Long story and if you do not want to read then just know I need a good and honest Audio shop. I will hold most of the story for later on how terrible Broward Collision is but give you all a slight idea of what I have been through in 2 months. I just received my car back a week ago after a fender bender that happened on september 11th. Yes it took them over a month and a half to repair. During this month and a half they dipped and dodged my calls and when i did get someone on the phone they had no idea what was happening with my car and would make excuses. I went 23 days without them giving me any idea where they were on the repairs. I dont think they even knew. When I get my car back a week ago from today I realize the volume control on the steering wheel is not working, there is a piece of metal rattling in the dash as well as a piece in the steering wheel making noise and bouncing around. Also I come to find out something is wrong with the piece in my gas tank that measures fuel. I take it back to them this monday and I was told i could pick it up in the afternoon and they would call. I heard nothing. I called tuesday morning and I continue to get the run around about them still looking into it. Wednesday I call and they tell me to come get it, so I take off the second half of the day and go to get it. They hand me the keys and I go to get the car and it hasnt even been moved from where I parked it. Nothing is fixed. At this point I am pissed so I leave it again. I call Thursday and finally get the manager who tells me that Friday it will be done and they are working on it. I show up today and the car has still not moved but now the airbag light is flashing and all of the issues are still there. When I talk to the manager he admits they do not have an audio guy and have no idea how to put the volume control back in. He also said the car is too new for them and he would rather Nissan deal with the gas tank issue. This is an after market pioneer radio and I have the cord that originally made my volume control work. For some reason they knew how to take the cord out and wrap it up and put it in the glove box but do not have a clue how to put it back together. My first step to fix this mess is to get the volume control fixed then my plan is to take it to Nissan and just let insurance know that Broward Collision could not repair the gas tank or this flashing airbag light. Any help would be super appreciated.
