I have a different adapter that threads to the engine block so i just drilled and tapped a NPT thread for the sensor.
It looks like you cant do that. Would you be able to use something like this?...

I threaded mine into the relocation block...
I threaded mine into the relocation block supplied by GTM. I'm not sure what version kit you have but mine came with a billet aluminum relocation block, so install was a breeze.
