Is it just me or are they trying to make Obama more than what he is. You see him on t.v all day long acting like a celebrity more than a president. What i hate about this dude is that he blows money not to mention world leaders. He bends over and spreads em for every other country saying that we need to open communications with them. News flash, russia,iran,venezuela etc dont give a flying F*** about us so why are we trying to bring them to the table when the underlying truth is they hate us. Im not saying john mccain was the right guy( too old.sad to say)But obama is a complete disappointment. Im not white and ill be the first to say that people voted for him only because hes black. Seems people cant find anything else to make an impact in history books so they ended up voting for this clown in order to later say.. i was there when he got elected. I swear his term cannot end soon enough. People refer to this guy as the anti christ. I dont know if ill go that far but ill tell you this much. If in his term they try to lift the length of terms a president can get elected(2) then ill definately start wondering whether this guy is or not.. This is off topic a bit but i just got to let it out i know not think that black people are 3 times as racist as white people. On BET they say white people this white people that, god forbid you call obama...Obaboon and they wanna tie you in the square, soak you in gasoline and ignite you(jesse jackson and Rev sharpton holding the torches) I really hate the direction this country is going in... O.k done now..

I would agree with you, but I am white, and people might think that was racist of me.

I disagree but freedom of speech is what makes this country great.

From a strictly economic perspective ..... monetary policy ..... not skin color, I don't agree with how he is trying to spend us out of a recession. This thing will run it's course, they always do, and there needed to be some market corrections, as bad as it hurts. But the spiraling deficit is going to be a bi**h to deal with.

A lot can be said about Obama. A lot... During that whole Samalian pirate issue, I was reading about his new puppy. An american is being held hostage by pirates on an oil freighter and we're reading about a ******* PUPPY.

I'll give it a while longer before I pass judgment. He actually seems to be getting a lot accomplished, we just don't all agree with those accomplishments.

I won't judge a president until he's had time to establish just what kind of leader he is. I'm just judging our ****** up media coverage on him.

The boston herald had a animated picture that summed up the whole deficit aspects and how the media is making a big deal about his stupid dog quite nicely. I couldnt find it online but its obama up to his neck in water(depicted as deficit)and him saying atleast i got a portugese water dog. It was the funniest thing yet so true.

You're not the first to say it, unfortunately. I've heard a lot of people say that and it saddens me quite a bit, because I believe the majority of people voted for him because they actually felt he was the better choice. It feels like people are cheapening that and turning it into a race issue when that has nothing to do with it.

I think a lot of people voted for this guy thinking they were going to get a free ride. Nothing in this world is free, someone, somewhere, had to make it.

And who effing cares about the puppy? Obama doesn't tell the media which stories to run. You may not agree with him on everything, I don't, but give him more than a few months to solve all the problems he inherited.

IMO most people didn't vote for him because of his skin color, they voted for him because they thought he was the best choice, and a few months is not enough time to see how his decisions pan out. In business it's common to say "you've got to spend money to make money." Do you think our financial system would have righted itself in a short time without some sort of government intervention? I don't. And if Obama hadn't done anything at all the same shrill whiners would be bitching and moaning about his lack of effort to fix the economy. Since we seem to have so many economist Nobel winners in here, about about you throw out some legitimate suggestions?
