Less than 4 days left in the election
So, have you decided who you're going to vote for? Here's a great website that compares both of these candidates stand point. I am looking forward to research a bit more, get more detailed info on the important issues and decide finally who I'm gonna vote for.
Here's the site http://www.obama-mccain.info/index-obama-mccain.php |
Being a Political Science- International Relations major, you can bet your that I am fairly passionate when it comes to politics. Unfortunately, the side that I am passionate for is not the same as my parents... So they just happened to forget to send me my absentee ballot to vote, haha. C'est la vie!
I recommend that everyone get out and vote. It is not only your right, but your JOB! Without the citizens voting, a democracy can not function correctly. So do some internet browsing. Search Fox News, CNN, NY Times, Al Jazeera English, The Huffington Post, etc. All have great information about the candidates. When you feel like you can make an informed decision, get off your and do it! |
Last couple days have been crazy. Everytime I turn the tv on its either McCain or Obama. Voting is absolute mandatory and every citizen should do it. It's only couple days left. This election is very different IMO. With our current economy crisis and the whole deficit thing, whoever gets elected there's a lot of work ahead of them. I am looking forward to vote on tuesday.
BTW, steve, did you hear about the porn flick that one of the studios released. It's called "Nailin' Paylin" :bowrofl: I heard that in the movie, they had Obama look alike, McCain look alike and even a hilary look alike actor/actress too... :rofl2: |
I heard about it, but haven't been able to find anything else. There is a very strong censorship of internet content over here, so everything like that is blocked.

I knew before most of you guys probably, haha. Got a portable wireless modem, and woke up bright and early to sit in front of CNN and wait for it.
How many people here voted? |

I voted at my election center less than 2 blocks away. I walked in and there wasn't any lines. I was basically in and out in 4 minutes. Obama is here. He wanted to be here and we gave him the chance. Now lets see where he takes us. |
I'm anxious to see how it works out. I wouldn't have voted for him... but I still think he has the potential to do good things for the country.
