It's not as stable as glass and if you've ever had it off for some reason, it isn't always as tight once it's re-installed. I've accidentally pulled it off when I was rushing to pull the suction mount off, but I've had my windshield replaced and the installer pulled that panel off which I didn't think was necessary. __________________ 2009 370Z w/ Sport
