Need advice
 

What do you think of the Sony Cybershot DSC RX 1000? I am sick and tired of being asked to take all the pics at every family event just because I have the biggest camera at the party ( Nikon D90 with 18-300 mm zooms SB 100 flash) and my wife doesnt like the bulk either

I just want something easy to carry for casual pics...but do you think I will be disappointed after a while?

Any other small compacts anyone can recommend?

Any thoughts in general about these kinds cameras?
