Shot this bad boy Friday night. Beautiful curves but for the price I would much rather get a GTR.

Okay i have a decent collection of Canon glass.
Camera body is a Canon 60D. The 70D wasn't much of an upgrade. 1. What's the next step up on the Canon model range? 2. If i'm moving from a 16mp sensor... is there much room for improvement? (besides iso) Thanks all!

Most people are limited by their lenses more so than their camera. What kind of lenses are you using currently?

Yeah man, so if you want to keep the lenses you currently have, then you shouldn't get the 6D, or any full frame body, as the 18-135 and the 10-18 won't fit full frame bodies. My honest suggestion is to keep what you've got and invest in better lenses if you are looking for better image quality.
IF you want to just spend money, buy a 6D with the 24-105 and you're set. Can't beat it, really.

Bought the 24mm pancake lens recently but haven't been able to find an infant to take photos of. I know it won't be as good as the 40mm but it seemed like the better walk around lens.

I have a 24mm lens too. It's the best for landscape imho.

Playing around with my strobes today so I needed a test subject.
And shot my friends car along with him and his wife. Not my most favorite shot but they liked it. |

How are the Profoto's treating you? I can tell the power of them from the first shot.

I will say I hate the fact that I cannot plug them in and use them. Really sucks having to recharge. Depending on how things go I might buy Profoto Acute 2R at the end of the year to give me that extra power I am looking for. That is if I dont buy a GTR haha, otherwise thats where all my money will go. |

The quality is phenomenal. Of course the 6D is no comparison the the 5DMIII but I always liked to go with a decent camera body and invest the money into the lens. Hence the T3 before. I sold the body and three lenses then picked up a 16-35 F4. My favorite so far because its perfect for car photography. Looking to add a 35F1.4 for specialty shots but the 28F1.8 covers that for now. |
