Yeah it was bad with my 50mm 1.8, but I can't complain, still the best $100 lens to this day! a nicer lens you would have to be at 100%+

But yeah lightroom or adobe camera raw, there's a button to remove it. Usually does a good job. Worst case you can desaturate the greens or purples. It's mostly green fringing or purple fringing or both even

Another good bang for the buck lens
Tamron 70-300 f4-5.6 VC. I picked mine up second hand for $260, but I think new they're still under $400. Shot with it both with my 60D and 6D, I like it much more on the full frame but the reach is crazy on the crop sensor. Will be tough to get of if I ever jump the gun on a 70-200 f2.8 6D: IMG_6735 by shotbyKAMphotography, on Flickr IMG_6350 by shotbyKAMphotography, on Flickr IMG_6068 by shotbyKAMphotography, on Flickr IMG_6214 by shotbyKAMphotography, on Flickr 60D: IMG_0698 by shotbyKAMphotography, on Flickr IMG_0506 by shotbyKAMphotography, on Flickr IMG_0800 by shotbyKAMphotography, on Flickr

Haven't posted much in here for a while since most of the stuff I've been shooting has been bigger events or races. Last Thursday I spoke with a friend of mine over at Michelin HQ here in Greenville and found out they had a preproduction Porsche 918 on display in the main atrium since Michelin had developed a new tire specifically for the car, the Pilot Sport Cup 2. I asked if I could run by for a few minutes and take a few photos and he obliged. These were definitely not the right circumstances to take photos worthy of such an amazing feat of engineering but I snapped a few nonetheless. We couldn't move the car, it was locked up and there were people all around it constantly but I still managed to grab a few cool detail shots. Here's a link to the album:
Porsche 918 Quick Shoot - 8/28/2014 - JPMcG Photography A couple fav's: There's a few more shots worth seeing in there so give the album a quick look!

My very first attempt at something not car related, so go easy on me lol. Plus I don't think this 35mm prime is the best lens for super close up type stuff, so... there's that.

I'd love to see that shot in a white box with a mirror bottom!

There's actually that very setup for shooting products at TIGI's headquarters in Dallas. I call it "The Other Bed Head Studio", not to be confused with the Bed Head Studio in London where the models are shot for campaigns.

I love Bed Head...
Both the literal and the hair product, just to be clear.
