Unlikely to get both in focus! Would certainly try to focus on the bird. Bird photography is pretty challenging and takes some expensive zoom lenses to do it right. I also like that last plane shot, nice lighting

Actually, I put quite a bit of processing into those images. It's New Jersey on a grey day... I attempted to make the colours and contrast look more interesting, but I stopped myself from trying to make it look like Hawaii. What do you suggest?
