And it's actually 3 exposures that are HDR merged in PS and the image was worked on for like 3 frickin hours. :icon14: But this is my idea of HDR ;) |
The amount of HDR in the first pic is nice, but I wasn't a fan of the extreme depth-of-field after the fact.
I like the second one though! Alien Bees with octoboxes on order for anyone who's wondering. |

Thanks! Decided to suck it up and invest a little more and a little more wisely.

Easy D, that shot is sick!

That photo looks like something from an Evil Dead movie...

I've been making these collages in Pixelmator, they're pretty fun to make.
Do you guys like them? give me some input The Z http://images.us.viewbook.com/393e6f...5b01_large.jpg The Camaro (nothing against ford lol, we've owned one. The plate is just for laughs. http://images.us.viewbook.com/d6c3b0...06b2_large.jpg The 3000 http://images.us.viewbook.com/d28fd8...a220_large.jpg Probably between 10 and 20 layers for each one. I made the background layer by filling the background with either Black or Grey, then applied a noise filter, then a motion blur filter to make it look like lines instead of dots, then duplicated the line layer and rotated one 90 degrees and placed it behind the original, changed the blending mode to multiply, then added a colored gradient on top with the appropriate color to somewhat go with each vehicle and changed their blending modes to overlay. some of the colors looked too dark so I added a seperate layer on top of them and filled it with white, and changed the blending mode to overlay to brighten the color. Then I imported each photo into Pixelmator's layer's bracket, resized and rotated/positioned them where I wanted, deciding which to place on top of the other as I went and at what angle. Once that was finished, I went and added a border to each layer using an edge fill, then when done I duplicated the final picture and filled the background layer with black and moved it a few pixels down and either to the left or right for a shadow. but it had hard edges so I used a Gaussian blur filter on that layer to make it look more like a true shadow. Once finished adding borders and shadows to all the layers, I merged them all together and saved the Photo. |
No thats not my House that the Z is parked in front of, and the Camaro is only lowered in the top right, bottom right, and group camaro photo. It looked like a lifted pick up after putting those Vossen's on, as you can see by the one where it is parked under the tree, MAJOR GAP!!!

I like that interior shot of the 3000 Dallaz:tup:
|
Those are very good shots, Mr. Dallaz.
|
Yep, I like the collages. Would make for a nice car show display for mods and what not.
|
:iagree:
|
Thanks guys. @alchemy - yeah I should have used an interior photo for each vehicle but wasn't really thinking about it. And on the camaro one I forgot to include a completely stock photo. It had the stock grey stripes on the hood and trunk lid only and a front plate.
