you definitely got the rule of thirds down... also since you have a good idea about composition, try to stay out of auto mode... it's a waste to have a DSLR and use auto

hey guys,

So some of you might know I recently got engaged. I took some pictures of the ring and I figured I'd share it with you guys. But, at the moment I only have them on facebook, so the quality has suffered. Let me know what you think!

I did the same thing with my ex's ring... over 2 years later, the ring still sits in a box in my closet.

Had to drive into Dallas this morning to the municipal court. Got my speeding ticket of 35mph over Dismissed, Big relief. Anyways on the drive down main street on the way home I snapped an HDR at a stop light on my iPhone 4 and edited it too all with the same app.

HDR Pro. A must have for awesome iPhone photos. Hope you guys enjoy

Yeah the edited one is too grungey (not a word). There's limited filters in that app though and I thought that one suited the scene well
