Sorry to thread jack but might anyone need a Lowepro bag, a JOBY flexible tripod, or a Canon 24mm pancake?

Attempted a version of Kazman's shot for my future sister in law's wedding ring. I'm no professional obviously, and I really need a proper lens. I'm only running with the cheapo nifty fifty. This really has me thinking of getting the 100mm macro.

Looks good pintsize, i like it.
Id try removing the pink ribbon so you can see the heart from shadow. I like it though.

Had to use the ribbon to keep the top heavy diamond side up. I was trying to get it really snug in there to reduce the appearance but it wasn't long enough. (That's what she said.)

Took a few pics tonight on somebody's dock out on the river. Been playing with my Pixelstick more, I really like this thing, I just have to think of some more creative ways to use it instead of just the usual stuff. I went on my buddy Brad's facebook and saved a pic of him playing the guitar, then put it on the stick. I like how it came out. The other stuff is just me testing some of the patterns on the stick.

Also looks like I have an LED out. I'll have to contact them to fix it since it's still under warranty. One last one, I did my usual night photography stuff of the water. I always like it when I have clouds running across the sky, makes for a cool effect.

Has anyone purchased a new lens from Best Buy ever? I bought a 24-70 f/4L brand new with shipping to my work. I received it and it looks new and all but the shipping label states that it shipped from Best Buy Returns Center which would lead me to believe that it was a returned unit. If that happens to be the case, I would have liked it to be priced accordingly but not sure if this is just where they ship all items from. Thoughts?

I haven't bought online from them, I've bought in store my EF-S 24mm STM and EFS 10-18 STM in store, no labels there obviously... Go ahead and go to a store, speak to a manager to do an exchange just in case. If it's a legit unit there should be no issue. It'll be like they're adding to their inventory.

The 24-70 f/4 is a flawless lens, I use it for all my event coverage and most of my commercial and magazine work. Never misses a beat, IS rules and the macro ability on the fly is most impressive.

I'm testing it out at my brother's wedding tomorrow. Hopefully I manage to get some decent shots.

Planning on adding the Nikon version of that lens to my collection as well, 24-70 f/2.8 ED. First on my list though (and one I'll be renting for Zdayz this year to try out first) is the 70-200 f/2.8 G ED, pretty much one of the most popular lenses out there for Nikons. Trying to scrounge up the $1500-$2000 depending on whether I go refurbed or new new.
