Love that little bit of red in the back, adds some nice flare to the shot.

Thanks guys:tiphat: Yeah, my wife and I rearranged the living room and faked a big window light at 10pm at night lol with a big light and a scrim, came out great, threw the faux cherry blossom vase thingy we have in the back for some shape and interest.

About as good as it got with the stock lens, humidity, lower position on a bridge, etc. Played around with bulb mode and shutter priority.

Any ideas where I can find a cheaply priced Canon 85mm f/1.8? Or a decent priced alternative?

jshare1 07-06-2015 04:37 PM

Aww man I was really hoping he meant my second shot.

Shot a bit this weekend. Some were better than others.

Here are some I liked. And also a random drift test shot thingy.

Your shots look nice bud, but I despise HDR with a passion. To each their own, I just refrain from saying anything about it. Not trying to be elitist or anything like that, not at all. Just not my cup of tea :tiphat:

Like you said to each there own. I try to keep mine not overly blown out as some of the HDR stuff out there. Really like it for urbex since it helps add so much color and makes the details pop
