Up next for rental: Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L :excited:

Borrow Lenses is running a 25% off deal for it and the 70-200 f/4 lens this week if anyone else is interested.

If you can, try the sigma 18-35 f/1.8, its incredible! 18mm at 1.8 looks totally out of this world!

It is an awesome lens.

Which 16-35? There's two versions... I had the old version and I did not like it at all. The f/2.8 was good but the distortion towards the edges was horrible. I've heard the newer versions have alleviated this to some degree. I have the 17-40 f/4 L and I use that thing all the time, it's a great, lightweight, inexpensive L :happydance:

Santa brought me a Vello battery grip for the 5D MIII, a lens collar tripod mount for the 70-200 f4 IS, and an Oben lightweight ballhead tripod. Very good day! Going to do my first real shoot with the Z in a long time tomorrow morning. Pics to follow after edits.

The more I mess around with Photoshop, the less faith I have in advertising.
I mean, I knew this already, but holy crap is the liquify filter a powerful tool!

Oh yeah, its unbelievable what can be done in photoshop. I look at it this way, no picture you will ever see in legitimate, middle to high end advertising is ever not photoshopped.

I made a new, non-existent person tonight.
I felt like I was in Weird Science.

First attempts at star trails. I will probably be practicing a lot more of these. :)

A really crappy and cheap Sunpak one from Best Buy. :icon17:

I caved and bought a new Lenovo laptop with an HD screen for editing. My brother wants me to take his engagement photos and I'd like be able to edit correctly.

Photoshopping is the way to go for advertisements. You should see what we do at work for Hasbro, really badass stuff.

Took a picture today of my bike before I start crashing it. Really wish I could use my canon 70-200 2.8 on the Nikon. O well this will work for now.

I didn't notice all the stunter kit at first.
Yeah, that bike won't be pretty for long.
