You didn't select a soft brush hence why this is such a rough transition.

Not my work, I'm referring to my thread in order to correct.

The trend that I've seen through all 16 pages guys, is that your HDR is WAYYYY too much.

DO NOT over think it!

HDR stands for high dynamic range. (Meaning stops of light) our eyes can see 7-15 stops of light.

Camera's can't unless its an HDR camera.

Now for example, you're in a room inside, and you can SEE all the details in your room, including everything in it, as well as if you look out your window you can see what is outside too!

Your camera can only see one or the other, so see in those terms when you are DOING HDR, is what can my eye see, and what goes beyond that?

I find HDR not very aesthetically pleasing.

All of my shots are non-HDR and not modified/edited in any way. These are all exactly what I got when I shot the image - exposure and composition.

With your recent work the ones of the building, try under exposing your images -1, you'll get more rich colors.

Just installed my Aero Jacket (Sunline, Shine Auto) kit w/ the exception of the front lip which I will be putting on this weekend, so I took her out for a photo shoot. All shots were made with a Nikon D700 and Nikon 70-200mm 2.8 lens. They were edited in aperture with the exception of the first photo which I used Photomatix to add the palm trees instead of just a blue sky from a photo I took in Barbados.

My D700 which I bought for $2,000 was going for $25-2700 on Craigslist just weeks after the power plant crisis, which was almost what they sold for brand new years ago. I haven't checked recently but I'm pretty sure they just moved their operations a little further from the that area until everything got cleared up. pricing is more likely back to normal cause Nikon is rolling out new cameras now.

That's true. Your camera is going for the "overall light exposure" not color exposure, so for example your deep blue sky your seeing in real life may wash out to an aqua-ish color, your reds may wash out to orange-ish or in some cases pink-ish color, etc. You can check all of this in camera if you have a newer camera with color histograms.
