This is the west shore of the Susquehanna, across from downtown Harrisburg.

I'm standing on the Harvey Taylor Bridge, RT 11/15.

Lightening has eluded me again.

By chance, does anyone need a Canon 55-250 IS lens or know anyone who wants a starter DSLR kit? I know I shouldn't be hawking stuff here but I'm not really getting any bites elsewhere. Let me know.

Have you given eBay a try? I'd take a look at what they are going for on there. I just sold a couple of lenses and came out pretty good.
I actually sold a 70-200 F4 for more than you could have bought a new one for at the same time. Buyer beware in that case. Couldn't actually believe the buyer went as high as they did.

So I got interested in HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography and just bought the software. Here's my first effort. It's a combination of 3 bracketed shots taken near sunset. I made a mistake and set the bracketing to +3 0 -3 stops. The software suggests +2 0 -2 bracketing. But nevertheless, I like it. I'll upload a color shot of the same scene when I get one ready. It's a nice effect. It lightens up the shadows and really makes the highlights pop.
