depends on what you shoot, i guess. it's hard for me to get clean shots with the 18-200 in low light unless i pump ISO up, since a lot of what i shoot is moving around.

Here is an example, taken in near darkness with 2 flashes, 7D w/85mm 1.8 @ 4 about 10 feet away give or take.
