Cool. I love my 7D. I'm renting a second one this weekend for a wedding reception. Thought about renting a 5D MKiii, but thought familiarity would be better.

Did a little pre-reception learning/testing.

Not my work, but found it on a photography forum. Thought it was worth a share here:

Any better hosting sites than photobucket that don't kill quality?

LunaZ 03-29-2013 09:43 AM

Are you using your lights as a constant source or as strobes for those shots?

6spd 03-29-2013 10:12 AM

They are speedlights

I like Smugmug. It's not free, but the quality is much better. If you sign up for a year, it comes out to around $3.33 a month for the "basic" and $5 a month for the "power". The only big difference is a custom hostname, video storage and a few other little extras. There's no limit to the number of files you can upload and they allow you to upload images up to 50mb.

I get a $10 referral credit if you use my coupon code :tiphat: : omvZKcaChRwv8

Zenfolio is another one. Cheaper than SmugMug, since SM raised their price.

6spd 03-29-2013 11:53 AM

I am starting my own photog business and was going to try a smugmug pro account, but I just need something in the time being. Since the good ones cost, I'll probably stick it out until smugmug or whatever I go with. Thanks though guys!

Cmike, will that referral work for a pro account too? I'll use it for you if I can!
